Mortgage Process

Any mortgage company can take an application, but at SELECT we pride ourselves on our commitment to you, the home buyer. SELECT loan officers are available to help you through the entire mortgage process and beyond. Choosing a mortgage lender is not just about the rates offered,  it is also about the service provided.


Here are the steps involved in getting a mortgage loan.  If you have any questions contact us

1. Meet with a Real Estate Agent or seller

2. Get Pre-Approval from SELECT

3. Meet with your loan officer to complete the loan application

Things you will need to bring with you:
Last two W2's and 1040's
Last 2 paystubs
Bank/stock statements for the last three months
Contract of sale on the home your are buying/selling
Landlord address for last 2 years (if applicable)
Divorce decree (if applicable)
Certificate of eligibility or DD214 (VA loans only)

4. Processor obtains documentation for submission to the underwriter for approval

Processor obtains:
Credit Report
Appraisal Report
Funds verification
Escrow instructions

5. Written LOAN APPROVAL is issued

6. Loan Documentation is signed

7. Closing

8. HOME OWNERSHIP!!
